Capricorn Horoscope August 2026
Partnerships are the stage for August's biggest event. On 12 August a total solar eclipse cuts across Cancer, your 7th house, where exalted Jupiter has been supporting relationships and agreements. The Sun also occupies your 7th for the first half of the month, so other people's needs and opinions are hard to ignore. Old custom keeps eclipse days for reflection rather than new commitments, so avoid signing contracts or making major relationship decisions that week.
Work is where the month runs smoothly. Mars enters Gemini, your 6th house, on 2 August, a position the gochara rules rate highly for it, ideal for tackling competition, debts and demanding tasks. Mercury moves through your 7th from 5 August, then on 22 August Mercury enters Leo, your 8th, a supportive place for research. The Sun reaches your 8th on 17 August, in its own sign. Venus moves into Virgo, your 9th, on 1 August, debilitated but in a supportive house. Your ruler, Saturn, stays retrograde in your 3rd all month, still a helpful placement for steady effort. In Aquarius, your 2nd, a partial lunar eclipse arrives on 28 August.
